Kyla is 8 weeks old!

Kyla is 8 weeks old! We are still struggling with the reflux and are trying to find the right mixture of meds to help her feel better. Hopefully that will happen soon.


This is what we've resorted to to clear Kyla's sinuses.... a steamy shower with the door closed. Plus she loves the sound!

Kyla is 7 weeks old and is doing much better. She is still having some reflux issues but overall she is improving. She is definitely a high maintenance baby but we love her to death!

Kyla is 6 weeks old!

6 weeks was a lot like 5 weeks for baby Kyla but she started to feel better. Her pediatrician changed her formula to a hyperallergenic type due to a suspected milk protein allergy. FINALLY, her screaming has calmed and she has been sleeping again. Her "baby acne" or eczema (whichever it may be) looks worse but it slowly getting better....

Kyla is 5 weeks old!

The day that Kyla's grandma left she turned 5 weeks old. This started a bad few weeks in little Kyla's life. She developed what seemed to be baby acne the day her grandma left. She didn't sleep well the entire week and her face continued to get worse and worse. We did go to the pumpkin patch though and as you can see Kyla loved it as much as Mommy and Daddy!

Kyla is 1 week old and we survived the first week home! She is a good baby and sleeps a lot. She only cries when she is hungry. We LOVE being parents!

Baby Kyla was born on August 29, 2007! We were so overjoyed to have her become a part of our family. The pregnancy was long and difficult but it is so worth it now that she is here! Kyla got to meet her MiMi the day she was born!
